Mixtli

Mixtli is a Michelin-starred progressive Mexican restaurant in San Antonio's Southtown neighborhood, helmed by chefs Rico Torres and Diego Galicia, who were named Food & Wine Best New Chefs in 2017 and earned Mixtli a Michelin star in November 2024. The restaurant's ever-evolving tasting menu — whose name means 'cloud' in Nahuatl — explores the regional culinary traditions of Mexico using indigenous ingredients and techniques, and Mixtli has been a James Beard Award finalist for Outstanding Restaurant.
