Normal Ice Cream

Normal Ice Cream is a Salt Lake City soft-serve and ice cream brand founded in 2017 by Alexa Norlin, who began with a food truck before opening a brick-and-mortar shop at 169 East 900 South. In 2023, Normal became the first ice cream shop in the James Beard Foundation's history to receive a nomination — earning a semifinalist nod in the Outstanding Bakery category — and sources its dairy locally from Rosehill Dairy in Morgan, Utah.
