SOICHI is an intimate omakase sushi restaurant in San Diego's University Heights neighborhood opened in 2019 by Chef Soichi Kadoya, a Yokosuka-born chef who trained in Japan and San Diego for 25 years before launching his own restaurant with his wife Raechel. The restaurant earned a Michelin star in 2021 and has maintained its one-star designation in the MICHELIN Guide USA, offering a 10-seat chef's counter experience.
