Tacos Sinaloa

Founded in 1999 by Guadalupe Bueno, an immigrant from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Tacos Sinaloa began as a food truck on International Boulevard in East Oakland after Bueno spent 14 years working for another taco truck. The family-owned operation grew from its roots in Oakland's San Antonio neighborhood into a multi-location business with brick-and-mortar locations in Oakland and Berkeley. It remains a beloved institution in the East Bay known for authentic Mexican street food and deep community ties.
