The Crack Shack Little Italy is the original flagship location of the fried chicken concept founded in November 2015 by Richard Blais and Mike Rosen at 2266 Kettner Blvd in San Diego's Little Italy, built adjacent to their fine-dining restaurant Juniper & Ivy in a converted former mechanic's shop. The restaurant was named "Best Fried Chicken Restaurant in the US" by Thrillist and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025, with its SoCal-style fried chicken made from non-GMO Jidori birds.
