Voodoo Doughnut

Voodoo Doughnut was founded in May 2003 by Kenneth 'Cat Daddy' Pogson and Richard 'Tres' Shannon in Portland's Old Town neighborhood, originally operating only at night to serve bar-goers. The shop gained national fame for its eccentric creations like the Voodoo Doll doughnut, was credited with pioneering the gourmet doughnut category, and received Portland's official 'City Doughnut' designation in 2008; it has since expanded to 25 locations across nine states.
