Alcenias

Alcenia's is a Memphis soul food institution in the Pinch District, founded in 1997 by BJ Chester-Tamayo and featured on the Food Network, Good Morning America, and named one of 200 must-visit places in the US by The New York Times. The handmade-to-order menu spans fried chicken, salmon croquettes, catfish, pork chops, hot-water cornbread, and housemade desserts, with owner BJ famous for greeting every guest with a hug.
