Central City BBQ
Central City BBQ is a New Orleans barbecue restaurant opened in 2016 by award-winning chef Aaron Burgau and entrepreneur Marc Bonifacic, combining Burgau's James Beard-recognized culinary background with Bonifacic's family legacy in barbecue. Pit Master James Cruse Jr. has led the team to a Grand Champion win at Hogs for the Cause and top finishes at the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Contest. House-made sauces crafted with local ingredients like Steen's cane syrup set Central City apart in the New Orleans barbecue scene, and its sprawling 40,000-square-foot Smokeyard courtyard doubles as one of the city's premier outdoor event venues.
