DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana opened its Los Angeles location in East Hollywood in 2014, part of a concept originally launched in Nashville in 2012 by founder Scott DeSano. The pizzeria adheres to the strict standards of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN), using imported Italian ingredients, hand-kneaded dough, and authentic Acunto wood-fired ovens operated by master pizzaiolos. DeSano is widely regarded as one of Los Angeles's premier destinations for certified Neapolitan pizza.
