Esco's New York Style Pizza

Esco's New York Style Pizza is a Black- and Latino-owned pizzeria in Mid-City Los Angeles, founded by Harlem native Esteban "Esco" Gutierrez, who spent over 20 years mastering authentic New York-style pizza before opening the shop on March 17, 2022. Gutierrez, who grew up working in his family's Harlem deli and an Astoria pizzeria, partnered with entrepreneur Aryn Drake-Lee to bring East Coast nostalgia to the heart of LA. The restaurant holds a 4.7-star Google rating and is celebrated for its foldable, classic New York slices.
