JINYA Ramen Bar's Salt Lake City Sugarhouse location is part of a national chain founded in 2010 by Tokyo-born restaurateur Tomo Takahashi, who opened the first U.S. location in Los Angeles after finding authentic ramen unavailable stateside. The brand is known for broths simmered up to 20 hours in-house and meticulously aged noodles, and was selected by Travelers Today as one of the Five Best Ramen Spots in America in 2017.
