Tosh's Ramen
Tosh's Ramen opened around 2013–2014 on South State Street in Salt Lake City, founded by Japanese restaurateur Toshio Sekikawa, who had previously operated the sushi restaurant Mikado. Recognized as the first authentic ramen shop in Utah, the restaurant specializes in tonkotsu ramen made with fresh ingredients in a low-key strip-mall setting. Sekikawa sold both locations during the COVID-19 pandemic and retired to Japan; a second Holladay location opened in 2017 and continues under new ownership.
