Ruth's Diner
Ruth's Diner was founded in 1930 by Ruth Evans, a former cabaret singer who opened a hamburger stand in downtown Salt Lake City before relocating to a converted trolley car in Emigration Canyon in 1949, where the landmark diner has operated ever since. Now Utah's second-oldest restaurant, Ruth's has been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and consistently appears on national lists of America's best classic diners.
