Squatters Pub

Squatters Pub Brewery opened on September 5, 1989, founded by Jeff Polychronis and Peter Cole, making it Salt Lake City's first brewpub and post-Prohibition brewery. The brewery has earned over 26 Great American Beer Festival medals including 14 gold, and gained recognition for hiring one of the first female brewers in the country, Jenny Talley, who formulated the popular Full Suspension Pale Ale. The original founders reacquired the locations in 2022 when Monster Beverage Corporation purchased parent company CANarchy.
