Opened in 2014 in Detroit's Midtown, Selden Standard is a farm-to-table small-plates restaurant from chef Andy Hollyday and partner Evan Hansen. Hollyday has earned multiple James Beard Award nominations, including finalist status in 2023 for Best Chef: Great Lakes, and the restaurant was named a James Beard Outstanding Restaurant semifinalist in both 2024 and 2025. USA Today named it one of the best restaurants in America in 2024.
