Opened in late 2025 in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood, Sforno Pizzeria Napoletana was founded by Silvia Veronese, who had a wood-fired oven hand-built by century-old Naples manufacturer Acunto Mario and reassembled on-site under Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana supervision. The restaurant specializes in Neapolitan pizza and portafoglio wallet-style folded street pizza, with ingredients including San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella from the Amalfi Coast.
