The Antler Room opened in 2016 at 2506 Holmes St in Kansas City, Missouri, founded by husband-and-wife team Chef Nick Goellner and Wine Director Leslie Newsam Goellner. Chef Goellner trained at Noma in Copenhagen and as sous chef at Boulevard in San Francisco, and has been a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef Midwest three times. The restaurant was a Bon Appétit finalist for Best New Restaurant in America in 2017 and was named by Food & Wine as one of the 15 Most Important Natural Wine Bars in America.
