The Food Box

The Food Box is a Mexican burger chain founded in 2013 in Monterrey, Mexico by Juan Ángel Martinez Ochoa, who launched it as a ghost kitchen after selling his car to fund the concept. After gaining fame through an appearance on Shark Tank Mexico and growing to over 15 locations in Mexico, the brand opened its first U.S. location in San Diego's Pacific Beach neighborhood in 2022, offering burgers inspired by Mexican recipes made entirely from scratch.
