Woody's Drive-In has been a Salt Lake City institution since 1989, founded by Wouden and Christine, who had previously managed Arctic Circle restaurants before opening their own 1950s-themed carhop diner. The restaurant is known for its handmade french fries, above-the-rim milkshakes, and classic burgers. After 35 years, the founders passed ownership to Joe Hansen in 2024, who committed to preserving the restaurant's beloved menu and community identity.
