Minnie Bell’s Soul Movement

Minnie Bell's Soul Movement is a San Francisco soul food restaurant founded by chef Fernay McPherson, a third-generation San Franciscan who named the restaurant after her grandmother and great-aunt and began the business with catering and a food truck in 2010. McPherson was named a San Francisco Chronicle Rising Star Chef in 2017 and a 2019 Southern Foodways Alliance Smith Fellow, and the Fillmore District brick-and-mortar location has been recognized among the SF Chronicle's Top 100 restaurants.
