The Bird is a fast-casual fried chicken sandwich concept launched in 2016 by Adriano Paganini's Back of the House Inc., the San Francisco restaurant group also behind Beretta, Delarosa, and Super Duper Burgers. Located in SoMa and Hayes Valley, The Bird is known for free-range dark thigh meat seasoned with a berbere spice blend, served on fresh-baked local buns with house-made apple slaw.
