Tim Ho Wan is a Hong Kong dim sum chain founded in March 2009 by Mak Kwai-pui, a former chef at the three-Michelin-star Lung King Heen, in a 20-seat restaurant in Mong Kok; the original location earned a Michelin star within its first year and became known as the world's most affordable Michelin-starred restaurant. The Las Vegas location opened on September 29, 2019, at the Palms Casino Resort, seating nearly 200 guests and adding a Japanese whisky and baijiu beverage program unique to the U.S. market.
